September Challenge 3

This is a challenge for traditional haiku for the season 'spring'. You can use appropriate words other than 'spring' to denote the season. Consider using Australian references (plants, birds, activities etc). See below references to some indigenous seasonal patterns for Australia.

  1. spring sunshine
    Sturt Desert Pea flickers
    on the brick path

    half a moon
    silvering
    all the bluebells

    warm breeze
    bluebells have climbed
    up their greem stalks

    bird bath
    honeyeaters splash
    among quince petals

    spring collection
    abandoned mattresses
    heaved into the dump truck

    honeyeater
    yellow and black
    on the wattle branch

    the high sweet note
    of rosellas
    brief conversation
