First Laughter
ReplyDeleteMy daughter’s first laughter was when she saw an old washing mangle. Don’t ask me why – it wasn’t even moving. But she laughed that baby’s laughter, burbling from her belly, over and over till it eventually petered out. I took her back into the old laundry later and it happened again. Couldn’t get enough of it – I was addicted.
